A good start and sorry end

The NCAAs march on, leaving me with a six-for-seven mark on my bracket and a good start from Vandy, leaving me with a warm and fuzzy feeling going into the dinner hours...

Ironic with all this success that Wyoming's lone men's basketball team is making the news for other reasons... It's just another disappointing chapter to the end of a disappointing season.

I'll admit being star-struck when I saw the brown-and-gold sauntering through Denver International Airport in September but there's a reason the Pokes aren't in the tourney, and it isn't just because they're in the WAC. They don't have the players and as the AD made clear, apparently didn't have the coach either.

Too bad it had to end with accusations of stealing. Pathetic. They should all transfer to CU — they love that stuff down there.

...At least the women made it to the NIT.
