You can buy what?!
I switched on our local AM station while driving through the snow to work this morning and heard the following, somewhat amusing, advertisement:
A benefit auction of some sort would soon be held in Rapid City, S.D., presumably for some cowboy who was sick. Never did catch that.
What I did catch was the auction items: Rodeo school tuitions, stud fees, saddles, a football signed by Tommy Frazier (remember, the quarterback from Nebraska) and, best of all, 10 sticks of bull semen.
That's right, to the highest bidder, there will go enough baby batter from one champion bull to make heifers across the High Plains blush.
If I was a rancher or more dedicated to rodeo, I'd probably be more excited. But for now, I'll pass on that one.
